Our Organic American Einkorn Sourdough is baked with a blend of American-grown organic einkorn and organic hard wheat that we mill fresh in-house, then slow-ferment with our wild sourdough starter (no commercial yeast). Expect a sun-gold crumb, honeyed aroma, and a tender, pillowy bite—perfect for toast, sandwiches, and cheese boards.

 

Also available: 100% Einkorn Sourdough — made only with fresh-milled organic whole einkorn and a 100% einkorn starter. A hearty, European-style loaf with a compact crumb. Very limited (10 loaves/week).

Serving ideas


Toast with cultured butter & honey, soft sandwiches, grilled cheese, or French toast. Also great with olive oil, flaky salt, and a squeeze of lemon.

 

Storage & refresh


Best at room temp in a paper bag or bread box (no refrigeration).

For longer keeping: slice & freeze airtight; toast straight from frozen.

To refresh the crust: warm at 350°F for 8–12 minutes; rest 5 minutes before slicing.

The Bread Feels Like a Gift

I rarely write reviews, but this bread deserves one. I ordered the ancient einkorn sourdough from this wonderful New York bakery after hearing it was the number one bread recommended by the Biblio Diet, and it has truly been a game changer for me. Not only is the bread absolutely delicious with incredible flavor and texture, but as someone who is gluten sensitive, I’ve had no reaction to it at all. That alone feels like such a gift. Finding a bread that tastes this good and also agrees with me has honestly felt like discovering a hidden gem.

You can tell this bakery puts tremendous care into the quality of their ingredients and the traditional process they use. I’m so grateful I found them and will definitely continue ordering.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional sourdough made with ancient grains and genuine craftsmanship.
